Rehearsing for LB Marathon

On Sun Oct 10 bassist Anna Rosales and drummer Alexa Brinkschulte will join me playing for the Long Beach Marathon. We’ll be somewhere around the 22 mile marker Last year I played it as a solo act and enjoyed it so much I want to bring a full band. There were 17.000 runners. We’re giving them energy and good vibes.

Trasherella – follow the red carpet

Last night was the red carpet screening of Rena Riffel’s Trasherella. Rena wrote, directed, starred and edited. Not bad for a blond bombshell!! We co wrote 3 of the songs in it – Perfectly Imperfect and Beauty Is Pain – which Rena performs wonderfully onscreen. That’s me dawdling my way through the photo shoot

On The Bandstand

Occasionally I can be found thumping the bass for the wonderfull theater troupe Brain Brew Entertainment. These pics are from Sunday morning at Universal Studios in California.

We had a 6:30am call time. That’s early for Blasick time. Rehearsal went straight up until showtime at 10:30. Lots o’ standing.
